Hauntings. What are they anyway? There are basically three types of hauntings. The first type is the most common. It is what we call a residual haunting. These, one can compare to the data on a video recorder. Energy emitted at the time of death or tragedy in life is recorded onto the environment. When you experience sounds, images, apparitions or scents that are otherwise unexplainable, what you are actually experiencing is much like a recorded playback of something that has happened in the past.
Next, is the intelligent haunting. These are more rare. Yet, these are the ghosts or hauntings that most people are familiar with. Remember the movie “The Sixth Sense”? These were actual human spirits that had not crossed over into the next “level” (heaven, the next life, etc.) and had some unfinished business with a living person, a message they wanted to send, etc. The spirit, in this case, is either so emotionally connected to his loved ones that he refuses to cross over, or their death was so sudden, violent or tragic that they do not realize they have passed. These are the ghosts that will lock and unlock doors and windows, run faucets, move things and interact with you. This is what makes them an intelligent presence.
The third type is what is popularly known as a poltergeist. Which is German for “noisy ghost”. These are similar to intelligent hauntings in that they tend to exist in the present with us. Unfortunately, the emotion that is tying them to this realty is anger. That is why they are often hostile and violent. Much like a person suffering from psychological instability or distress stemming from an unresolved conflict. These are more rare yet. However they happen and need to be handled by professionals whom have studied and understand how to approach them.
Then there is a kind of thing called a demonic or inhuman entity. Demonic entities tend to be unleashed in order to manifest themselves. Often, you will see the use of an Ouija board in these cases. (This is the main reason we discourage anyone from the use of an Ouija board.). If it is determined that a demonic entity is involved in a haunting or disturbance, we at Entities Inc. do not proceed to attempt removing or binding it ourselves. We will however do everything within our power and connections to put you in touch with those persons whom deal with these things on a regular basis and are prepared to deal with them. If you think you have a demonic presence in your life you must act immediately. There are people out there to help you.

There are many people who deal specifically with demons and evil forces and they are in my phone book. I was told that in no way shape or form is it an easy task to become rid of it or them. It can take weeks, months and sometimes years. This is one of the main reasons we do an interview with our clients before we go and do an investigation. One is to be certain that there truly is an issue and what exactly that issue is. We can properly prepare ourselves for the investigation and how to approach it. Demons will sometimes omit an odor that will make your stomach turn, maybe scratching sounds and growling. Furniture will start moving and lifting. The person(s) in the home will become under attack and this is gradual until it has complete and utter control over you. The strength that a possessed person has becomes incredible. The things that the person does on an every day basis they are unaware of. They may stop eating, stop sleeping and become cruel and unrecognizable. I will not put my team or myself in this position.
