Hi! My name is Kimberlie “Kim” Kwasna. I am 43. I am originally from Louisiana, but now I live on the east end of Long Island with my husband and co-investigator John and two grown (mostly anyway) kids, as well as a beautiful dog and three very spoiled cats. I am retired from the Mortgage Banking Industry and have an MBA. So, how in the world did I get here? I came to paranormal research after being directly involved with a real live haunting…in my own home. I once lived in a beautiful huge old house that was nearly 300 years old. It wasn’t very long after moving in that odd things became noticeably weird, then spooky and then terrifying. Mostly, because at the time I had little (if any) idea about the paranormal world. I had no idea where to turn for help. The Internet was new and TV shows like Ghost Hunters did not exist. My sleepless nights, strange happenings, and scares went on for 5 years. Finally, I told my husband we had to move. Which we did. Along the way, I had lost members of my family and people I was close to and I started to read all the books I could find on the spirit world and it’s possibilities. Then I lost my brother and my father and I knew then that I needed more answers. I needed to know that there is a next life. That we do go on. I needed to know they were OK. My quest brought me to psychics, and more books and lots of research and finally to an amazing group of people, who as luck or fate would have it, became “Entities Inc.” as we are today. Now I have the knowledge, tools and support to help others like myself in need of help but don’t know where to turn. I don’t know if it’s a calling or mission, but is definitely an adventure.
